Good morning friends! I have been glued to my computer screen for the last two weeks or so designing seasonal illustration collections for submission to potential licensees. This sweet little momma bird and baby bird are part of a vintage linen-inspired Mother's Day collection. Hopefully these designs and the many others I've been working on will resonate with art directors. Whether or not they do, you WILL see these images and many more in upcoming digital clip art kits in my Aimee Asher Digital Boutique! Plus, I am planning a major overhaul of my currently under-utilized CafePress store, and you will be able to purchase many of the designs I've done over the past two years or so on everything from baby onesies to mugs to mousepads! I'll surely keep you up to date on these developments!!
Right now, I have to switch gears back to drawing...I'm creating Thanksgiving designs at the moment, which can be a little mind-bending, but I'm loving it! (pumpkin pie anyone?)
But before I go, I would be remiss to go any longer without sharing with you that I was the winner of a great giveaway that my talented artist friend Monica Lee of Monica Lee Studios had a while back. I won this AWESOME book, created by the wonderful folks from Where Women Create!!

Yep, it is just as inspiring and lovely as you would imagine. THANK YOU Monica for the generous giveaway...I will cherish it always! Please stop by and check out Monica's newest fabric collection for Timeless Treasures...it's SO VERY CUTE!!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

PS - Please keep the victims of the Japan earthquake and all others effected by this tragedy in your prayers...
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:1-2 (NLT)
I hope things work out wonderfully for you in the designing. I'll be checking Aimee Asher for your artwork. Momma and baby bird are darling. Keep on working Becky, and things will happen for you! Yes, our prayers are needed for all the victims in Japan.
