This week's Illustration Friday topic, "Hierarchy", was a bit of a challenge...it's not the most inspiring word to me. Too many memories of organization charts at my old job. But, with a bit of time, the inspiration came...and it started with John 15:5 - "I am the vine, you are the branches..." - yep, that summed up the ultimate Hierarchy to me! Jesus is the vine...the source of everything I am, everything I need. And if I remain in Him, in close fellowship, then He will produce good fruit in my life. Apart from Him...I would just wither and die...and that's the truth. I'm so grateful to be a part of His glorious Hierarchy!
