Under the Weather and Out of Touch
My computer has been out sick with a bug for a couple of days now, but he's finally back on his feet again! Hurray! I tell you, when you're cut off from the internet (all our household computers were down), you realize what a big part of your life the internet has become...for better or worse. I have loved all the people I've "met" and beautiful things I've seen and read online...it's become an important part of my creative life. So, cheers to all you folks, bleary-eyed and sleep deprived who travel through cyberspace sharing bits and pieces of yourselves with others. We're all creating quite a beautiful tapestry as we weave in and out of each other's lives. It's great to share in it with you!

Very poetic " We're all creating quite a beautiful tapestry as we weave in and out of each other's lives." i like how you've said it. I had avoided blogging for so many years and now, I cannot turn my back on it. It has tickled the dying creativity in me.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I agree.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about missing the internet. We had horrible storms over the weekend and no internet for over 30 hours. I felt like I was dying! I like your blog very much.
ReplyDeleteI like how you put things into perspective, njoy roaming around your blog :")
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your computers had the cruds. It's amazing how important (?) the internet has become in our lives (I miss it, too, when it's down or I'm away). I think you're quite the encourager, as I see your kind comments at most of the same blogs I visit.
ReplyDeleteBTW, really love your IF entry! I saw it early on but had to zip, with no wherewithall to leave a comment at the time.
Glad you comp. is feeling better. You are so right about finding special places and people out in cyberspace, [you being one of them].
ReplyDeleteSo glad your computer is feeling so much better. I'm the same way with the internet. If anyone ever asks me a question that I don't know the answer to, I tell them to wait one while I go ask the internet. Someone's bound to have a webpage about it.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is charming...internet addiction...looks like you are back..i will stay tuned! =^..^=
