Under the Weather and Out of Touch

My computer has been out sick with a bug for a couple of days now, but he's finally back on his feet again! Hurray! I tell you, when you're cut off from the internet (all our household computers were down), you realize what a big part of your life the internet has become...for better or worse. I have loved all the people I've "met" and beautiful things I've seen and read online...it's become an important part of my creative life. So, cheers to all you folks, bleary-eyed and sleep deprived who travel through cyberspace sharing bits and pieces of yourselves with others. We're all creating quite a beautiful tapestry as we weave in and out of each other's lives. It's great to share in it with you!

  1. Very poetic " We're all creating quite a beautiful tapestry as we weave in and out of each other's lives." i like how you've said it. I had avoided blogging for so many years and now, I cannot turn my back on it. It has tickled the dying creativity in me.

    Cheers!

  2. I know what you mean about missing the internet. We had horrible storms over the weekend and no internet for over 30 hours. I felt like I was dying! I like your blog very much.

  4. Sorry to hear your computers had the cruds. It's amazing how important (?) the internet has become in our lives (I miss it, too, when it's down or I'm away). I think you're quite the encourager, as I see your kind comments at most of the same blogs I visit.

BTW, really love your IF entry! I saw it early on but had to zip, with no wherewithall to leave a comment at the time.

  5. Glad you comp. is feeling better. You are so right about finding special places and people out in cyberspace, [you being one of them].

  6. So glad your computer is feeling so much better. I'm the same way with the internet. If anyone ever asks me a question that I don't know the answer to, I tell them to wait one while I go ask the internet. Someone's bound to have a webpage about it.
