Well, unfortunately it looks like Gustav is going to be wreaking some havoc in our "backyard"...particularly in Louisiana and eastern Texas where John and I both have plenty of friends and family. We're particularly concerned about John's 4 daughters and their families who appear to be right in the main path of the storm in and around Baton Rouge, which is about an hour or so from New Orleans. We're praying for safety for all our loved ones and for everyone who is in harm's way. We will be keeping a close watch over the next 24 hours or so, plus we will have to wait and see what Gustav has in store once it makes landfall. Not sure yet the impact on the Houston area, if any. But we are trusting God all the way and believing for the best...
I'll keep you posted...thanks for your prayers as well...

ReplyDeleteHi Becky! Oh, I pray that your family stays out of harms way. We have friends in Morgan City who evacuated - minus the hubby who stayed there to make sure work stays in progress. Looks like it will be hitting that area and Baton Rouge in a few hours. Hurricaines are so terrible!
