Yep, I make a huge mess when I am creating...it may look like chaos, but I work best when I everything laid out in front of me. We're in the midst of our preparations for the upcoming Flea Market in November...here's just a taste of some of the projects we're working on...
We used junk jewelry and assorted trims....
...to upcycle these cute little mini lampshades my Mom had...they were fun to make...we have about 10 more in the works...
There's been lots of pieces spray painted...
...with still many more piles of projects waiting their turn to be transformed...
We're having fun, but it can be a bit overwhelming at times. But overall, I am really pleased with our progress.
Here's a little sneak peek at three projects in the early stages of their transformation...

I love to see your projects. The lamp shades are adorable. Your creativity is awesome! I prefer an organized workspace but with everything in front of me. I think you can have both! I wish I could come to the flea market but we're way too far away.
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of gathering and collecting of various components intended for various projects. I can see it in my mind when I am collecting these items, but I get them home and they're stashed away in a box or drawer or in one of my 2 sheds, never to be seen again. If someone were to lock me away in my home for 1 year, and not allow me to leave the property, I would have enough to keep me busy every moment.(Provided I didn't have to cook and clean, and do all of the other 'must be done' chores involved in keeping house.)So I fall under creative chaos,but more to the chaos than creative side.

Becky, I make such a blissful mess when I create, too. I know it's time to clean up when I'm down to my last 12 inches of clear space...lol. When I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll. Everything looks so pretty. Can't wait to see your finished products. Blessings, Patty
